However, in order for them to connect, they must allow the port through their computer and download hamachi. ![]() I made my server myself and I started off with hamachi first to get one or two of my friends to play. My other theory, which is probably incorrect and its the first one that is causing the problem, is that I don't have my server running correctly. I don't know if the reason people are disconnecting is that of my wifi and port forwarding or if it's a different variable. I cannot have a wired connection to my router as it is on a different floor and is in an occupied room. This worked, but that means I must be connected to the eero for internet and the regular wifi to port forward the server. However, I wasn't able to port forward through the eero so I did it through the regular default connection. I have my PC which is running the server connected to the eero for the internet. They connect to an outlet and provide ethernet connections. ![]() My internet over wifi isn't the best in my house so my family bought a wifi range extender thing called eero. ![]() I have two theories as to why this may occur but I also wanted other people's opinions on the matter.įirst off is how I have the server port forwarded. The problem I'm having is that when I have the server running people will either join and play or join then be disconnected or the server is extremely laggy. Around 2-5 people are using on the server. So I have a private server for me and some other people.
